coesi1 is an independent project developed and managed by oxido.it. It is not a corporation, but software provided "AS IS" for personal safety.
THE USER ACKNOWLEDGES AND AGREES THAT coesi1 IS NOT A SUBSTITUTE FOR OFFICIAL EMERGENCY SERVICES (E.G. 112, 911, OR OTHER LOCAL NUMBERS).
In case of life-threatening danger or medical emergency, the user must always attempt to contact authorities via phone. coesi1 is an additional support tool ("best effort") and does not guarantee the arrival of rescue.
oxido.it and coesi1 developers shall not be liable for direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages resulting from:
- Failure to send or receive SOS/Check-ins (due to lack of network, low battery, software bugs, spam filters, third-party server errors).
- Cyber attacks, unauthorized access, data theft, or security breaches despite adopted protection measures.
- GPS malfunction or geolocation errors.
- Service interruption for maintenance or force majeure.
- Improper, negligent, or illicit use of the service by the user (including configuration errors, entry of false data, or failure to follow instructions).
By using the service, the user assumes full responsibility for their own safety.
Some features require a financial contribution.
- Payments are securely processed via Stripe.
- The service is provided on a "donation/support" basis. No refunds are provided for partially unused periods, except for proven critical malfunctions attributable to the software.
- oxido.it reserves the right to modify prices or plan features at any time, honoring the service already paid for until expiration.
We respect your privacy. Location data is saved only in case of emergency (SOS) or Check-in and stored for a limited period (Black Box). See the Privacy Policy for details.
We reserve the right to suspend accounts that abuse the service (e.g., repeated false alarms, illegal use, system tampering attempts) without prior notice.
The service is provided from Italy. These terms are governed exclusively by Italian Law. Any dispute shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the project owner's place of residence, without prejudice to mandatory consumer protection laws in the user's country of residence (e.g., EU regulations).
