User Manual
Imagine a digital guardian that always checks if you are okay.
If you don't check in for too long, it calls for help for you.
It is for those who live alone, do extreme sports, work in isolated places, or anyone who wants extra safety.
Trusted Contacts are the trusted people (family, friends) who will receive the alert if you do not check in by pressing "I'M OK" before the timer expires or if you trigger an SOS.
You can add up to 5 in Settings.
Your Trusted Contacts are not required to register or install the coesi1 app! To receive notifications on Telegram, they just need to use their app and follow these 3 steps:
Tap this link @userinfobot and say "Hi". It will reply with a number (e.g., 123456789).
Tap this link @coesi1_bot and press START. ⚠️ If you don't, you won't receive the SOS!
Send me that number (your Chat ID).
You can easily share these instructions with your contacts via email, WhatsApp, or Telegram by pressing the button below:
coesi1 is not downloaded from the store. It is a "Web App".
To install it:
This is the basic function, available for everyone.
You set a time (e.g., 24 hours) and the countdown starts. If time runs out, the alert is sent.
⚠️ Browser Permissions: For the system to record your last known location at every Check-in, you must ALLOW access to Location (GPS) when your browser asks for it.
To prevent the alarm from going off, you must press the giant button on the Home screen before the time runs out.
Every time you press it, the timer resets (e.g., starts over from 24 hours).
Press and hold the button for about a second to pause the timer. Press it again to reactivate.
In Settings, you find the Notice field. If you set it to "1 hour", for example, you will receive a notification (Email/Telegram) one hour before the timer expires. Useful to avoid forgetting to check in and preventing false alarms.
In Settings, you can enable the Advanced Mode.
• Classic (Default): Every time you press "I'M OK", the timer resets from that exact moment. If your deadline was 6:00 PM but you press at 2:00 PM, the new deadline shifts to 2:00 PM the next day.
• Advanced (Fixed Time): Keeps your daily appointment intact. If the deadline is 6:00 PM and you press "I'M OK" during the warning window (e.g., at 5:30 PM), the app adds 24 hours starting exactly from 6:00 PM. No time shifting!
If you need a shorter temporary timer for an activity (e.g. 3 hours) without changing your normal settings, use the QUICK TIMER button under the "I'M OK" button.
When it expires, the alarm will trigger (warnings/reminders are disabled during hikes).
To end the hike and return to normal, simply pause the timer.
The central 🆘 icon switches to "Active" mode. Use it if you need immediate help (injury, threat) without waiting for the timer to expire.
The ⚙️ icon opens the control panel where you can edit Trusted Contacts and/or their email/Telegram details, change the Timer duration, create SOS and CHECK-IN icons for quick access from your phone's Home Screen, and manage other settings.
In case of immediate danger, press the SOS button. It works for everyone, with differences:
Includes vital features to call for help:
• Emergency Email to all contacts.
• Precise GPS Location on map.
• Instant Photo (Selfie/Environment).
If enabled, notifications can also be delivered via Telegram.
🚨 CRUCIAL: For SOS to work, you must grant permission for Location, Camera, and Microphone when requested. Without these permissions, the alarm will be sent empty (no data).
In Settings, you can find the "Quick SOS (Auto-Start)" option.
If enabled, opening the SOS shortcut starts the alarm immediately and turns the screen black (Stealth Mode) without needing to press anything. Ideal for panic situations.
Telegram is crucial for real-time notifications. Follow these steps to configure it for yourself and your Contacts.
Tap on @userinfobot (or search for it in Telegram) and start it. It will reply with a number (your "Chat ID").
Tap on our bot @coesi1_bot (or search for it in Telegram) and press START. You must start it to receive messages.
Go back to coesi1 > Settings and paste the number into the "Telegram Chat ID" field (in "Your Data" section).
Press SAVE CHANGES at the bottom of the page.
FOR CONTACTS: They must do steps 1 & 2 too! Ask for their "Chat ID" and paste it under their name in your Settings.
TEST: After saving, click the ✈️ button next to the contact name to send a test message and verify it works.
In emergencies, you don't have time to open the app you use for websites (browser) and log in. Create direct icons on your phone's main screen (Home Screen).
Go to Settings (⚙️) and scroll down to the colored boxes (Green and Red).
Press the OPEN PAGE button. Your phone will open a new tab dedicated only to that function (SOS or Check-in).
While viewing the new page, open the browser menu (3 dots on top for Android or Share button ⏍ at bottom for iPhone).
Tap "Add to Home Screen" (or "Install App"). Confirm and the icon will appear on your phone.
🔁 Repeat for both pages (Red and Green).
FINAL STEP: Only after creating the colored icons, go back to the main site page and install the main "coesi1" App.
Icons opening Home instead of SOS? It means you installed the main App BEFORE the shortcuts. Order matters!
Solution: Uninstall the coesi1 App, clear browser cache, and restart: create Red/Green icons first, then the main one.
